Privacy policy

Max Drywall Incorporated is a drywall and plaster contractor in Boulder, Colorado. This page explains what happens to your information when you use this website or get in touch.

Last updated: 22 September 2026

The short version

Information you give us

If you phone, text or email Max, he will have whatever you send: typically your name, phone number or email address, your address or job site, and a description of the work you want done. He uses it to answer you, quote the work, carry it out, and keep ordinary business records such as invoices.

Email is handled through Gmail and phone calls and texts through his mobile carrier, so those providers process the messages in the normal course of delivering them.

The enquiry form

The form on the home page asks for your name, your phone number, your email address if you choose to give it, and a description of the work. Name, phone and the description are needed for Max to be able to answer you; email is optional. Nothing else is collected, and there is no hidden field recording who you are or where you came from.

Submissions are delivered by Web3Forms, a form-forwarding service, which passes the message to Max’s email inbox. Max is responsible for your information and Web3Forms handles it on his instructions only. Web3Forms’ own terms state that submission data may be held on their systems for up to three years before being deleted automatically, even though their support documentation describes messages as forwarded rather than stored. We state the longer period because that is the commitment their agreement actually makes. Their privacy policy and data processing agreement set out what they do with it.

The form carries a hidden field that only automated bots fill in, which is used to discard spam. It does not track you, and it sets no cookie. If you would rather not use the form at all, calling, texting or emailing reaches Max exactly the same way.

Information collected automatically

This site is a set of static pages. It does not run analytics, advertising pixels, session recording, heat mapping, or any similar tracking.

Like every website, the server that delivers these pages keeps standard request logs, which include your IP address, the page requested, the time, and your browser's user-agent string. Those logs are created and held by the hosting company, not by Max, and they exist to keep the site running and secure rather than to identify you. If you want to know who hosts the site and how long they hold their logs, ask and Max will tell you.

Cookies

This website sets no cookies of any kind — not strictly necessary ones, not preference ones, and not analytics or advertising ones. There is therefore nothing to consent to, and no cookie banner is shown.

If analytics or a booking tool is added later, this section will be updated first, and anything beyond strictly necessary cookies will be turned off until you agree to it.

Third parties

The typefaces used on this site are served from this website itself rather than from Google Fonts or any other font service, so no outside company is told that you visited.

The enquiry form is delivered by Web3Forms, as described above. It loads no code into this page and sets no cookie — your details are sent to it only at the moment you press send.

Other than the form, this site embeds nothing: no maps, no video players, no social widgets, no chat popups, no analytics, no icon services.

How long information is kept

Enquiries that do not become jobs are kept only as long as they are useful to answer you. Records connected to work actually carried out — estimates, invoices, correspondence about the job — are kept for as long as needed for tax, accounting and warranty purposes.

That covers Max’s own copy. A message sent through the enquiry form also sits with Web3Forms for up to three years under their retention terms, as described above, whatever Max does with his copy of it. If you want a form submission deleted from their side sooner, say so and Max will make the request.

Your privacy rights in Colorado

The Colorado Privacy Act gives Colorado residents the right to confirm whether a business is processing their personal data, to access it, to correct it, to delete it, to obtain a portable copy, and to opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, and certain profiling.

The Act only applies to businesses above defined thresholds — broadly, those handling the personal data of 100,000 or more Colorado consumers a year, or 25,000 or more while earning revenue from selling personal data. A single-operator contractor of this size is very unlikely to meet either threshold, and Max does not sell personal data or use it for targeted advertising at all.

Regardless of whether the Act legally applies, Max will honour these requests. Email maxhotmud@gmail.com or call (720) 436-0222 and say what you would like done. He will respond within 45 days. If he turns a request down you may appeal by replying to that response, and you may contact the Colorado Attorney General’s Office.

Because this site runs no advertising or analytics, there is nothing here to opt out of, and universal opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control have nothing to act on.

Children

This site is aimed at property owners and trade customers. Max does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Enquiries arrive by ordinary phone, text and email, which are not encrypted end to end, so please do not send anything highly sensitive — such as financial account details or identification documents — by those routes.

Changes to this policy

If what the site does changes, this page is updated and the date at the top changes with it.

Phone and email are the way to reach Max about anything on this page, including a privacy request. If you would prefer to write to a postal address, ask and he will give you one.

This policy is written to describe the site accurately. It is not legal advice, and it has not been reviewed by a Colorado attorney. If Max wants certainty, a short review by a local lawyer is the right final step.
